封面取自于1928年德国艺术家John Heartfield（英语：John Heartfield）为德国共产党所设计的反法西斯以及反第三帝国的第二次世界大战宣传海报。原始海报上的文字是：“一只手有5个手指！有了这5个抓住敌人！”[3]这个口号启发了System of a Down专辑背面的部分文字：“手有五个手指，有能力和强大，具有摧毁和创造能力”。 后来，它用粗体字写成：“睁开你的眼睛，张开你的嘴巴，合上双手并握紧拳头( Open your eyes, open your mouths, close your hands and make a fist )”（稍后在Serj Tankian的歌曲“Uneducated Democracy”中使用）。
