多卓变虫属（学名：Polychaos）是变形虫门真正变形虫科的一个属，于1926年由美国生物学家阿萨·阿图·沙弗发表描述。

1926年，美国生物学家阿萨·阿图·沙弗将原属变形虫属的无恒变形虫（Amoeba dubia）与囊多卓变虫（Amoeba fasciculata）从该属中分出，改归入一新属，即多卓变虫属，并以无恒变形虫为本属的模式种[1]。本属最初被归入Chaidae科，后来有学者将其归入真正变形虫科中[2]。
形态 编辑
据沙弗描述，本属的变形虫细胞的前端通常具有多个伪足，且没有单一伪足明显比其他的更长并主导移动方向，形似人类的手指从手掌中伸出，其细胞质流动并不均匀，即细胞后端有相当部分的内质不参与主导细胞移动的细胞质流。与同科其他物种相比，毛变形虫属（Trichamoeba）的变形虫很少形成伪足，仅形成较小型的突起；后卓变虫属（Metachaos）的变形虫则会形成一个主要的伪足以司移动，且内质在胞中均匀流动[1]。

- P. annulatum：原属变形虫属，学名为Amoeba annulata，于1902年由瑞士生物学家Eugène Penard发表描述。1998年因形态特征被改归入本属[5]。
