早年生活 編輯

勞倫·伊麗莎白·詹姆斯2001年9月29日出生於倫敦[2]。由父親一方，她有格林納達和多米尼克血統，於母親一方則有英格蘭血統，她的哥哥里斯·詹姆斯也是一名職業足球運動員[3][4]。她曾就讀於倫敦惠頓（英語：Whitton, London）地區的特威克納姆學校（英語：Twickenham School）[5]。

勞倫·詹姆斯最初跟隨身為足球教練的父親，在本地俱樂部訓練，13歲時，她被阿森納相中，最初曾跟隨男子青年隊訓練，兩年後開始與女足一線隊一起訓練[6]。2017年10月29日，她在與埃弗頓的英女超比賽的第59分鐘替補登場，完成了阿森納女足首秀[7]，成為隊史第二年輕的首秀球員[6]。

在阿森納出場機會有限的勞倫·詹姆斯於2018年7月13日轉會加盟曼聯，參加第一級別的英女冠（英語：Women's Championship (England)）聯賽[6][8]。她在同年8月19日對陣利物浦的女足聯賽杯（英語：FA Women's League Cup）中完成首秀[9]。 她在2018-19賽季英女冠的第一場比賽中，面對阿斯頓維拉（英語：Aston Villa W.F.C.）打進頭兩個進球，幫助球隊12-0大勝對手[10]。9月份曼聯取得不敗戰績，勞倫·詹姆斯打進三球，被評為當月最佳球員[11]。2019年4月20日，她在對陣水晶宮（英語：Crystal Palace F.C. 2020年11月，勞倫·詹姆斯第一次得到英格蘭成年國家隊的徵召，參與在聖喬治公園國家足球中心（英語：St George's Park National Football Centre）舉行的29人訓練營[23]。

2022年9月3日，她完成了自己的成年國家隊首秀，在與奧地利（英語：Austria women's national football team）的2023年國際足聯女子世界盃預選賽的第79分鐘替補出場[24]。

2023年2月16日，她在阿諾德·克拉克杯（英語：Arnold Clark Cup）英格蘭4-0戰勝韓國的比賽中打進了自己的國家隊首球[25]。

2023年5月31日，她入選2023年女足世界盃英格蘭隊大名單[26][27]。小組賽第二場面對丹麥，她打進了全場唯一進球，幫助英格蘭隊取勝[28]，第三場面對中國，她打進兩球並送出三個助攻，獲評全場最佳球員[29]。

勞倫是現效力於切爾西，曾為英格蘭國家隊出場的後衛里斯·詹姆斯的妹妹[30]。他們成為現代第一對都曾代表英格蘭成年隊出戰的異性兄弟姐妹[31]。

她的父親奈傑爾（Nigel）是一位持有歐足聯證書的足球教練，她曾感謝父親在她成長中的作用：「（他）在每一步都為我提供了幫助。我和我的兄弟們一起踢足球長大，我想像他們一樣踢球；我一直熱愛這項運動，我感謝我的父親在我的足球生涯中投入的所有時間、精力和愛，他指導我，讓我達到最好的水平。」[32]。
