紅眉金翅雀體重約38.14克，翼長約97.3毫米，嘴峰長約16.4毫米，喙寬度約8.4毫米，喙厚度約9.4毫米，跗蹠長約19.4毫米，尾長約69.4毫米。紅眉金翅雀在其分布區內為留鳥，其棲息在密集的高大樹木組成的森林中，食性為草食性，主要食物來源是植物的乾果或種子。[3]
