《紐約觀察家報》（英語：The New York Observer[7]）是一份美國周報，自1987年開始印刷，2016年停止出版紙質版，成為網絡版《觀察家報》[8]。該報網站專注於文化、房地產、傳媒、政治、娛樂及出版等行業。

該報於1987年9月22日在紐約市首次出版，是一份周報，創始人是前投資銀行家亞瑟·卡特（Arthur L. Carter）[9]。它也曾是西德尼·莫爾斯（Sidney E.Morse）於1823年創辦的一份較早的宗教周報的名稱。該報最初是一份寬幅報紙，後來每周三以小報形式印刷，目前有獨家網絡版。
2006年7月，《紐約觀察家報》被當時年僅25歲的美國地產界人士賈里德·庫什納以一百萬美元收購[10]。
庫什納的岳父唐納德·特朗普（特朗普的女兒伊萬卡是庫什納的妻子）贏得2016年總統選舉的第二天，《觀察家報》印刷版就停刊了；庫什納在特朗普政府中擔任高級顧問。庫什納將其對觀察家媒體剩餘在線資產的所有權轉移到一個家族信託中，他的姐夫約瑟夫·邁耶通過該信託成為出版商。
2018年1月8日，《新聞周刊》媒體集團前全球首席營銷官詹姆斯·卡克林斯被宣布為《觀察家》的新總裁。他的職責是幫助《觀察家》發展，通過使其收入來源多樣化，舉辦會議，並對數字訂閱收費。[11]
