耳垂
耳垂（英文：Earlobe），是外耳耳廓的結構之一，由蜂窩組織、脂肪組織構成，但缺乏耳廓其它部分所具有的韌性和彈性。[1]

自由下垂型

耳垂是耳廓的基本結構之一，屬於體外可見的部分，而耳廓與外耳道共同組成了耳結構中的外耳。[2][3]
耳垂由上皮組織和結締組織構成，內部包含許多神經末梢，故對一些人而言耳垂屬於性敏感部位。[1][4]
多數人的耳垂是自由下垂型，而另一些人的耳垂下部與側臉相連。[5]
功能 編輯
耳垂內不含軟骨，且內部有較多血液供應，故可保持耳部溫度以及平衡。[6] 但一般認為，耳垂並不具有重要的生物學功能。[6]
臨床 編輯
正常情況下，耳垂結構平滑，但某些情況下會出現耳垂摺痕。[7] 譬如，兒童的耳垂摺痕有時與遺傳紊亂有關，如貝克威思－威德曼症候群。[7]
此外，一些早期研究認為耳垂摺痕可能與心臟病和冠心病的高風險有關。[8][9][10][11] 但此後也有研究認為，隨着年齡的增長，耳垂可能會自然出現摺痕，而與此同時年齡大的人群患心腦血管疾病的概率本身也比年輕人高，所以二者並不直接相關。[9][10][11]
