Bitstamp是一家位於盧森堡的比特幣交易所，按交易量統計截至2016年是世界第二大交易所。[1] 該平台經營美元和比特幣現貨交易，可存入或取出美元、歐元、比特幣、萊特幣、瑞波幣等。

歷史 編輯
Bitstamp由比特社區的名人Nejc Kodrič和Damijan Merlak在2011年8月創辦於斯洛文尼亞，2013年1月搬遷至英國，2016年搬遷至盧森堡。[2]
服務中斷 編輯
在2014年2月，由於分布式拒絕服務攻擊，Bitstamp暫停了各項提取[3][4][5]，比特幣雜誌報道說有幕後黑客向Kodrič索取75個比特幣的贖金，而Kodrič拒絕了這一勒索，理由是公司的基本原則是不與「恐怖分子」達成任何妥協。[6]。通過幾日的修復，Bitstamp暫時中止了對部分存在安全隱患可能為網絡釣魚用戶的取出請求[7]。
在2015年1月，在遭到黑客攻擊被盜19000個比特幣後，Bitstamp暫停了服務[8]一周後才重新開放
2018年10月，Bitstamp被比利時的投資公司NXMH收購[9]。
2020年10月，Bitstamp的匹配引擎得到納斯達克的更新[10]。
