Provides standard article footnotes for documenting the source of the inflated prices calculated by {{Inflation}}
.
Usage
編輯{{Inflation/fn}}
{{Inflation/fn|index}}
{{Inflation/fn|index|group=groupname}}
When the index parameter is provided, a footnote about that specific data set is generated. The index codes are the same as those used by {{Inflation}}
:
{{Inflation/fn|AU}}
= [1]{{Inflation/fn|AU-road}}
= [2]
{{Inflation/fn|CA}}
= [3]{{Inflation/fn|DE}}
= [4]{{Inflation/fn|JP}}
= [5]{{Inflation/fn|UK}}
= [6]{{Inflation/fn|UK-GDP}}
= [7]
{{Inflation/fn|US}}
= [8]{{Inflation/fn|US-GDP}}
= [9]
When no index
parameter is provided, or when an invalid index is provided, a generic footnote is generated with an error:
{{Inflation/fn}}
= [10]{{Inflation/fn|xyz}}
= [11]
This is the reference list generated by the above examples:

- ^ Inflated values automatically calculated. 錯誤:使用{{Inflation/fn}}時undefined index "xyz"
Anchor names produced are based on the index parameter, or its lack thereof. As a result, the same {{Inflation/fn|index}}
code can be used many times in the same article while generating only one actual footnote per index code.
Reference grouping
編輯If it is desired to place the footnote into a reference group other than the default, the |group=
parameter may be used:
{{Inflation/fn|UK|group=nb}}
= [nb 1]
- ^ 見英國零售價指數,數據來自Clark, Gregory. The Annual RPI and Average Earnings for Britain, 1209 to Present (New Series). MeasuringWorth. 2017 [2022-06-11].
NB to group the footnote with other footnotes rather than references, ({{notelist}}), use |group=lower-alpha
See the related section at {{Inflation}} for additional instructions and examples.
Date format
編輯Where the country is either CA
or US
, the generated reference includes the retrieval date of the data, which is shown in month-first (MDY) format. For US
only, this may be altered to day-first (DMY) format by adding |df=yes
. This must be done each time the template is called in an article, or there will be an error message in the reference list.
{{Inflation/fn|US|df=yes}}
= [1]

Citation format
編輯The citations for several indexes use {{cite web}} as a base template. This means the footnotes are output using Citation Style 1 (CS1) as a default. One (IN
) uses {{citation}} as a base template, resulting in Citation Style 2 (CS2) as a default. To switch between these, use |mode=cs1
or |mode=cs2
as appropriate. This must be done each time the template is called in an article, or there will be an error message in the reference list.
{{Inflation/fn|US|mode=cs2}}
= [1]{{Inflation/fn|JP|mode=cs1}}

Name list styles
編輯This template supports |name-list-style=
to promote consistency with other citations in an article.
