波瑟費勒斯屬

鸚形目新世界鸚鵡科下的一個屬

波瑟費勒斯屬（學名：Poicephalus）是鸚形目金剛鸚鵡科下的一個屬。[2]本屬物種為一種中大型鸚鵡，全身以棕色及綠色為主，性別差異不大，常常作為寵物鳥飼養。目前這個屬下有十個物種，僅分佈非洲撒哈拉沙漠以南的林地及乾旱地形中，是當地分佈最為廣泛的鸚鵡。

命名歷史

本屬為英國鳥類學家威廉·約翰·斯溫森（英語：William John Swainson）於1837年建立。[3]其模式種英國動物學家喬治·羅伯特·格雷於1840年指定為塞內加爾鸚鵡。[1][4]。[1]學名Poicephalus是由古希臘語φαιός（羅馬化：phaios，意指「灰色、黯淡的」）及Κέφαλος（羅馬化：-kephalos，意指「頭部的」）組合而成。[5]:312

在生物分類學中，本屬隸屬於金剛鸚鵡科非洲鸚鵡亞科下，是該亞科下的兩個分支之一。[7]而在屬內又可再分為兩個演化支形成的超種：以好望角鸚鵡等較大鸚鵡為主的P. robustus超種及其餘物種形成的P. meyeri超種。[8]當中數個物種不乏在圈養環境中雜交的紀錄，而褐頭鸚鵡及褐鸚鵡則有相當多野外雜交報告。[9]其中在最近期被獨立為物種的是自好望角鸚鵡拆分的褐頸鸚鵡，根據其地理上和基因上的隔離。[10][11]

形態特徵

本屬物種為體型偏中大型的鸚鵡，體長介於自21厘米（褐鸚鵡）至33厘米（好望角鸚鵡）之間，遠比同區域中任何牡丹鸚鵡來得大。[12][13]但仍比金剛鸚鵡來得小，有時可被說是裸眼鸚哥屬鸚鵡在非洲的對應種類。[14]其臉部不具裸露區域、蠟膜無羽，體色主要為綠色或棕褐色，鳥喙粗壯、尾巴方短。[8][12]而魯氏鸚鵡則是當中體色為棕褐色、黃色和藍色組成而無綠色的種類。[15]:287

兩性的外觀變異性大，當中魯氏鸚鵡及紅腹鸚鵡具有較明顯的區別——前者的雌鳥具有亮藍色腹部；後者的雄鳥則有亮橘色腹部；而其他成員則少有差異性或不存在任何差別。[12][13][16]而幼鳥的顏色則都較為黯淡。[12]

棲息環境與習性

波瑟費勒斯屬的鸚鵡均為僅分佈於非洲撒哈拉沙漠以南的留鳥，是一類特有種。[8][16]這些物種大多為樹棲型的鳥類，但分佈上有略微不同：P. robustus超種的成員通常棲息於森林、次生林、灌木叢和種植園中，分佈較為破碎；而P. meyeri超種內的成員則多生活在較乾燥的棲息地中，如猴麵包樹草原和河岸森林中，分佈上較為連續。[12][17]牠們通常會躲藏於樹冠層中成群覓食，為植食性。[8][18]其飛行能力甚佳，動作迅速且直接且適應於長距離飛行，如好望角鸚鵡可日飛80公里在棲息地和覓食區域之間移動。[12][15]:289

保護情況

本屬鸚鵡均為《瀕危野生動植物種國際貿易公約》附錄二的保護物種。[19]其物種狀態多數在《國際自然保護聯盟瀕危物種紅色名錄》中為無危物種，僅好望角鸚鵡主要受到非法伐木及原先就較小的種群大小（2015年的調查顯示總種群大小可能僅約1500隻），被歸入易危物種。[20]

與人類的關係

本屬的數種鸚鵡常被作為寵物飼養，當中最為常見的寵物鳥為塞內加爾鸚鵡。[8][14]在圈養環境中成長的大多數波瑟費勒斯屬鸚鵡都較為安靜、溫和，可能有能力學會幾個詞語。[14]但野外捕獲的個性都較為膽小，僅適合養在鳥舍中。[14]
