合成與分離

砷雜炔烴可由脫鹵化氫反應或鹼引發的消除反應製得,如HCAs由下式反應得到:

根據雙鍵規則英語double bond rule,砷雜炔烴有低聚傾向,試圖製備AsCCMe3時,只會得到具有立方烷結構的四聚體。[2]具有很大位阻取代基的C6H2-2,4,6-(t-Bu)3可以以單體的形式結晶出來,其As-C鍵的鍵長為1.657(7) Å。[3]
