陳星[1]（英語：Shane Chen，1956年10月—）北京人。是一位華裔美國人、發明家、和企業家。他發明了自平衡滑行車。[2][3]他是美國最有名的發明家之一，應該賺到幾百萬美元。[4][5]目前住在美國華盛頓州的卡默斯。[6]

在北京長大，畢業於北京農業大學，獲得農業氣象學的學位。[7] 1980年代中期到美國找尋商業機會。[8]1988年，他創立了CID公司，為植物和農業研究開發科學儀器。[9] 該領域的具體產品包括光合作用儀、葉片掃描儀和植物冠層分析儀。[10] 於2009年出售CID，成為一名全職消費品發明家。[11][12]2003年，陳創辦了英業達公司，發展更多主流思想和發明。在2003年，陳介紹了人力水翼船「Aquaskipper」，[13] 贏得了許多獎項，包括ISPO BrandNew獎的決賽選手，它還出現在歷史頻道的現代奇蹟節目中。[14]接下來，陳開發了一款三輪踏板車並獲得專利，並於2006年將該設計授權給RazorUSA。[15][16]陳繼續發明其他消費品，尤其是Orbitwheel Skates，UltraDrainer，Lunicycle，Solowheel，和Hovertrax.[17]中國工廠一直在非法複製他的發明，創造好多山寨。[18][19][20]
