小弗洛倫茨·齊格菲爾德

小弗洛倫茨·愛德華·齊格菲爾德（Florenz Edward Ziegfeld Jr.；1867年3月21日—1932年7月22日) 是一名美國百老匯戲劇製作人，以其諷刺歌舞劇和創辦的齊格菲富麗秀聞名，後入選美國劇院名人堂。[1]

1867年3月21日[2]:8，他出生於美國伊利諾伊州芝加哥。母親羅莎莉（Rosalie；née de Hez）出生在比利時，是艾蒂安·莫里斯·熱拉爾將軍的侄孫女[3][4]。他的父親弗洛倫茨·愛德華·齊格菲爾德是一名德國移民，祖父是耶弗爾市長。齊格菲爾德在他母親信奉的羅馬天主教堂受洗，父親則是路德宗信徒[2] :7–8。

他的父親曾管理過芝加哥音樂學院（Chicago Musical College），後來開了一家名叫「Trocadero」的夜總會，藉此從1893年芝加哥哥倫布紀念博覽會中獲利[5]。齊格菲爾德也參與過夜總會的經營，尤金·山道是他僱傭的[5][6]。

齊格菲爾德在歐洲旅行期間，於倫敦邂逅了波蘭裔法國歌手安娜·赫爾德[7]，後為她在美國進行宣傳，並讓她在自己的一系列百老匯作品中表演[8]，使其聲名鵲起[9][10]。

他花費250萬美元在紐約建造了擁有1600個座位的齊格菲爾德劇院[15]。資金來自威廉·赫斯特[16]，後者在齊格菲爾德死後獲得了劇院的控制權。

齊格菲爾德劇院於1927年2月開業，演出齊格菲爾德製作的《Rio Rita》，隨後上演的《演藝船》也獲得了很大的成功[8][17]。

1929年華爾街股災發生後，齊格菲爾德損失慘重。1932年，他和CBS電台合作，製作廣播劇《The Ziegfeld Follies of the Air 》[18]，但不久後便去世。

齊格菲爾德於1932年7月22日在荷里活死於胸膜炎[14]，之前他曾在新墨西哥州的療養院療養，搬到荷里活還沒幾天[14]。

根據安娜·赫爾德1918年8月13日在《紐約時報》上的訃告，齊格菲爾德和她於1897年開始了同居婚姻[10][2]:45。1912年4月14日，赫爾德提出離婚，1913年1月9日正式離婚[2] :124–125，原因可能是齊格菲爾德出軌[19]，出軌對象是莉蓮·洛林。莉蓮·洛林由齊格菲爾德在1907年發掘，並得到他的力捧，成為齊格菲女郎的台柱之一，還住在齊格菲爾德與赫爾德家兩層樓上[20]:63。

離婚後不久，齊格菲爾德於1914年除夕夜的一次聚會上與女演員比莉·伯克結識，旋即在當年4月11日結婚[14][21]。兩人育有一女帕翠西亞（Patricia Ziegfeld Stephenson；1916–2008）[22]。但他死後給伯克留下了巨額債務，促使她不得不繼續當演員還債[16]。齊格菲爾德和伯克被安葬在紐約州瓦爾哈拉的肯西科公墓（Kensico Cemetery）。
