尼泊爾鷦鶥體重約20.5克，翼長約55.8毫米，嘴峰長約12.6毫米，喙寬度約2.4毫米，喙厚度約3毫米，跗蹠長約21.8毫米，尾長約14.8毫米。尼泊爾鷦鶥在其分佈區內為留鳥，其棲息在密集的高大的樹木組成的森林中，食性為肉食性，主要食物來源是陸生無脊椎動物。[3]
