平信徒樞機
平信徒樞機（英語：lay cardinal）指天主教中以平信徒身份被指定為樞機（俗稱紅衣主教）者。因成為樞機至少要是執事[1]，因此平信徒樞機在得到任命後必定領受聖秩聖事，成為天主教的神職人員[2]。
雖歷史上有平信徒樞機出現，但20世紀初天主教教會法修改後，成為樞機者即便是就任執事級樞機也必須先晉鐸，因此目前平信徒已不能再被指定為樞機，平信徒樞機已是一個歷史名詞[3]。

1917年，教宗修改天主教教會法，規定今後即便是樞機中最低的執事級樞機必須由擁有鐸職者擔任，自此平信徒無法再被指定為樞機，平信徒樞機成為歷史[11]。
