弓蟹科
十足目的一科节肢动物
弓蟹科（Varunidae）是十足目短尾下目（螃蟹）胸孔亞派的其中一個科。過往弓蟹科物種在整個方蟹總科內的分類都比較混亂，因此現時正進行修訂。長久以來，本科的物種被歸為方蟹科之下的一個亞科，但現時發現原來牠們跟沙蟹總科之下的大眼蟹科（Macrophthalmidae Dana, 1851）及和尚蟹科（Mictyridae Dana, 1851）更為接近。因此，有建議把方蟹總科合併至歷史較為悠久的沙蟹總科內[2]。

然而，修訂後的方蟹總科依然是一個並系群，而且還有不少分類成員都需要再研究。現時，已有多個原屬方蟹科的屬被移往新的弓蟹科，也有部份仍然需要研究的物種資料也移到本科。當中最為有名的物種，首推中華絨螯蟹（即大閘蟹，學名：Eriocheir sinensis）[2]。怪方蟹屬（Xenograpsus）本來亦是弓蟹科的成員，但現時已獨立出來成立怪方蟹科（Xenograpsidae）[1]。
