早川一會
早川一會（英語：S. I. Hayakawa，1906年7月18日—1992年2月27日），加拿大出生的日裔美國語言學家，曾任三藩市州立大學校長、加利福尼亞州聯邦參議員（共和黨籍）。

生平
編輯早川一會先後畢業於曼尼托巴大學（1927年）、麥吉爾大學（1928年）、威斯康星大學麥迪遜分校（1935年）。此後，他任教於威斯康星大學、阿芒理工學院（現伊利諾伊理工學院）、芝加哥大學等校。1955年起，任三藩市州立學院（現三藩市州立大學）英語教授。1968年至1973年間擔任學校校長。退休後成為學校榮休教授。
早川一會以其對普通語義學的貢獻而知名，他最具影響的著作《語言學的邀請》（Language in Thought and Action）推廣了阿爾弗雷德·科日布斯基的普通語義學理論。
退休後，早川於1976年競選加利福尼亞州聯邦參議員成功，並擔任參議員至1983年。他於1992年去世，終年85歲。
