楚格語幾乎只分佈在楚格村(1971年人口483)，距離Dirang幾英里(Blench & Post 2011:3)。[3]
楚格語還分佈在Duhumbi村。[4]雖然楚格語和舍朱奔語關係密切，但其使用者被劃為門巴族。
據Lieberherr & Bodt (2017)，[1]楚格語分佈在3個主要村莊，有600人使用。
