綠猴有着金色的尾巴和灰綠色的毛皮。綠猴體型上兩性差異明顯，雄性個頭較大。野生成年綠猴體重3.9—8.0公斤（8.6—17.6英磅），體長420—600毫米（1.38—1.97英尺）。雌性重3.4—5.3公斤（7.5—11.7英磅），體長300—495毫米（0.984—1.624英尺）。[3]
