2024年電競世界盃（英語：2024 Esports World Cup，縮寫：EWC）為第一屆電競世界盃，是取代Gamers8的年度國際電競比賽，由電競世界盃基金會營運。賽事將於2024年7月3日至8月24日在沙特阿拉伯利雅德舉行，屆時將舉行19種不同電子遊戲的20場賽事。它將擁有電競史上最大的獎金池，超過6000萬美元。

背景

2023年10月，沙特阿拉伯宣佈將在利雅德舉辦首屆電競世界盃，作為沙特阿拉伯電競聯合會先前舉辦的電競節Gamers8的繼承賽事^[1]。這項賽事是沙特阿拉伯2030年願景的一部分，由王儲穆罕默德·賓·沙爾曼領導，旨在實現國家經濟多元化，減少對石油的依賴^[2]。

2024年2月20日宣佈了最初的五款遊戲，4月12日增加第19款遊戲《Apex 英雄》^[3]^[4]。賽事將在一個59,900平方公尺的場地內舉行，該場地設有四個獨立的電競競技場^[5]。電競世界盃將包括20場比賽，涵蓋19個競技項目。每場比賽都將遵循其獨特的賽制和規則，並形成一個更大的比賽，即俱樂部錦標賽。在俱樂部錦標賽中，每個參賽俱樂部都可以選擇他們希望參加的遊戲，在各種遊戲錦標賽中綜合表現最佳的俱樂部將被評為EWC俱樂部冠軍^[6]。

獎金池

2024年電競世界盃的獎金總額將超過6,000萬美元，這是電競史上最大的獎金總額。獎金將分為四類：俱樂部錦標賽、遊戲錦標賽、預選賽和MVP獎。俱樂部錦標賽將根據前16支隊伍的整體表現向他們頒發2,000萬美元的獎金，而20場遊戲錦標賽每場的總獎金將超過3,300萬美元。在預選賽中，參賽隊將爭奪700多萬美元的獎金，每場比賽的MVP將獲得5萬美元的獎勵^[6]。

俱樂部錦標賽將根據前16支隊伍的整體表現向他們頒發2,000萬美元的獎金。各項目前8名將獲得對應的積分，某些項目分第3名與第4名，則分別為350積分與200積分；並列3-4名則各為275積分，5-6名、7-8名同理。
