在世界文化遗产京杭大运河河北沧州段，有一段200多米长的堤坝，与普通的坝体不同，它的坝体是用灰土加糯米浆夯筑而成，历经百年沿用至今，坝体依然非常坚固。 这处大坝位于河北省东光县连镇，是大运河的险段之一，历史上洪水在此处曾多次决口。清朝末年，当地一位谢姓乡绅捐资从南方购进大量糯米，组织人力用糯米熬粥，加灰土、泥土混合筑堤，为了纪念乡绅的义举，这段大坝被命名为“谢家坝”。 |
