旺角公共图书馆
旺角公共图书馆（英语：Mong Kok Public Library）是香港一间已关闭的公共图书馆。旧址位于九龙运动场道17号地下A铺，由香港市政局管理，落成时为市政局辖下第六间小型图书馆。随着花园街公共图书馆于1989年4月29日启用，旺角公共图书馆随即关闭，结束服务。

1983年3月，香港市政局因应旺角区对图书设施的需求，建议租用运动场道17号或荔枝角道22号作小型图书馆之用[1]。时任图书馆专责委员会副主席何杨展翘认为，该处邻近学校及休憩用地，较荔枝角道选址更适合设立图书馆，最终局方通过运动场道建馆方案[2]。
1983月6月，市政局与业主达成协议，租用九龙运动场道17号地下A铺，并通过局方内部同意设馆，预计在同年8月开放[3][4]。
1983年9月19日，旺角公共图书馆开幕，成为市政局辖下第六间小型公共图书馆[5]。开幕仪式由时任市政局议员刘文龙主持，市政局主席张有兴、市政总署署长班礼士及副署长徐淦等人均有出席仪式[6]。
1984年，市政局同意旺角公共图书馆迁至计划中的大角咀市政大厦[7][8]，然而该市政大厦未能在短期内建成，所以局方决定改由花园街公共图书馆（分区图书馆）启用后，取代旺角公共图书馆[9]。
1989年4月29日，花园街公共图书馆正式启用，同日旺角公共图书馆结束服务，予以取代[10]。
设施及服务 编辑
图书馆面积合共91.3平方米，设有成人图书馆、儿童图书馆及参考图书部，为旺角区内居民提供图书借阅及参考资料服务[9]。
开放时间 编辑
图书馆自启用以来，开放时间为每星期39小时，逄星期一休馆。1985年3月，市政局建议更改开放时间，包括统一休馆日、更改午休时间、延长平日开放时间及缩短周末开放时间。最终方案获得通过，并于同年7月1日起生效[11]。
