无反转激光Lasing without inversionLWI),[1]或称无粒子数反转激光,是一种无需居量反转却能透过受激辐射进行光放大的技术。[2]在这种方案下工作的激光器利用原子跃迁的几率幅之间的量子相干来消除受激吸收却不影响受激辐射[3]此现象也是电磁感应透明的本质。[4]

无反转激光的基本概念最早由Ali Javan英语Ali Javan在1956年提出。[5][6]第一次演示是由Marlan Scully英语Marlan Scully德州农工大学于铷和钠实验中进行,接着又在圆石市NIST进行。[7]
