橙腹鹦鹉属

鸚形目舊世界鸚鵡科下的一個屬

橙腹鹦鹉属（学名：Neophema，中国大陆作橙腹鹦鹉属，台湾作纽费玛鹦鹉属）是鹦鹉目鹦鹉科下的一个属。[2]本属为体型较小的鹦鹉，栖息于澳洲的热带草原、低矮灌木地、草地等草原地形，在作为宠物饲养时常俗称为“小草鹦鹉”。[3][4]

命名历史 编辑

本属首见于意大利鸟类学家托马索·萨尔瓦多里（英语：Tommaso Salvadori）在1891年出版的英国自然历史博物馆鸟类名录描述。[5]其模式种为建立该属当下指定的绿宝石鹦鹉。[1]其属名Neophema由古希腊语的νέος（罗马化：neos，意指“新的、不同的”）及德国鸟类学家约翰·格奥尔格·瓦格勒于1832年建立的Euphema属组成。[6][注 1]

生物分类学中，本属原为宽尾鹦鹉族的一员，后于1975年汉斯·埃德蒙·沃尔特斯（英语：Hans Edmund Wolters）的名录中与伯氏鹦鹉属被一同归类至新的“纽费玛鹦鹉族”（Neophemini）下。[8]:283[9]2011年，研究显示实际上本属与地鹦鹉属关系较近，并建议将该属与纽费玛鹦鹉族合并。[10][11][12]因此现被归类于宽尾鹦鹉亚科地鹦鹉族下。[12]

伯氏鹦鹉属的鸟类曾为本属的一员，但现作为本属的姐妹群存在。[13]再加上更外群的地鹦鹉属，构成整个地鹦鹉族。[7][12]有些研究会将橙腹鹦鹉属下再细分为两个亚属，分别是以红胁鹦鹉及绿宝石鹦鹉构成的Neophema亚属；及其他四个物种组成的Neonanodes亚属，两者约在300—400万年前分化。[13]

这些鹦鹉均为身形小巧的绿色鹦鹉，尾巴较长，外侧的尾羽则多呈黄色。[3]其中Neophema亚属的鸟类脸颊为蓝色，雄鸟会有额外的蓝色羽毛，雌雄异形。[3]Neonanodes亚属的鸟类并不具有红色羽毛，雌雄也没有差异。[3]

习性 编辑

本属物种多于地面觅食，以种子为主。[3][8]:290它们是社交性的鸟类，常成小群活动，有时也可见群体繁殖的情况。[3][8]:288

保护情况 编辑

该属鹦鹉均受《濒危野生动植物种国际贸易公约》所保护，除了橙腹鹦鹉被列于附录一之外，其余物种均列于附录二内。[14]橙腹鹦鹉在野外的种群因遭到栖地损失、碎片化、退化及火灾的影响，于2017年时仅在唯一已知的栖息地中余下12只雄鸟和2只雌鸟。[15]1986年以来，就已进行相关繁殖计划，并已在各地的繁殖中心中繁殖了逾300只个体。[15]

与人类的关系 编辑

本属鸟类常作为宠物饲养，其中红胁鹦鹉（俗称“光辉鹦鹉”）、绿宝石鹦鹉（俗称“桔梗鹦鹉”）连同分类关系亲近的伯氏鹦鹉（俗称“秋草鹦鹉”）是当中最常被饲养的种类。[4]
