Ubuntu MATE

一个基于MATE桌面环境的Ubuntu官方衍生版

Ubuntu MATE是Ubuntu的一个官方派生版[3]，它基于MATE桌面环境（由已经停止官方维护的GNOME 2原始码派生而来[4]）。Ubuntu MATE针对老旧桌面型、笔记型、树莓派（Raspberry Pi）电脑等硬件性能等级不高的装置，或喜欢简洁、不用特效桌面环境者。第一个稳定版本为14.10[5]，而到了2015年2月26日发行15.04 Beta1时才一同发表Ubuntu MATE被官方认可正式成员的消息[6][7][8]。
