不列颠诸王史

《不列颠诸王史》（拉丁语：Historia regum Britanniae；英语：The History of the Kings of Britain；原名De gestis Britonum；英语：On the Deeds of the Britons）是蒙茅斯的杰弗里在1136年左右创作的一本历史书，以年代先后顺序记载了两千年里出现的不列颠诸王的生平。它是不列颠传说的主要源头之一。

直到16世纪，历史学家还把它当做信史[1]，但此书内容多为杜撰，只是作为一本文学作品颇有价值。李尔王的故事最早见于本书，而亚瑟王传奇的流行和此书不无关系。

蒙茅斯的杰弗里宣称此书译自一部古老的文献，这部文献则是牛津的沃尔特给他的[2][3][4]，但现代历史学家并不认为这是事实[2][5][6]。此书可能的来源包括吉尔达斯的《不列颠的毁灭》（De Excidio et Conquestu Britanniae，6世纪） 、比德的《英吉利教会史》（8世纪）、《不列颠人的历史》（9世纪，作者可能是内尼厄斯）、《威尔士编年史》（10世纪，作者不明）、塔利埃辛的诗和威尔士传说《基尔夫与奥尔温》（11-12世纪）[2]。
