原水母纲
原水母纲（Protomedusae）是过去刺胞动物门下的一个纲级分类元。在重新审视其成员形态后，其成员已被重新划入多孔动物门，因此本分类元基本上不再使用。
历史 编辑
1895年，查尔斯·都利特·沃尔科特等人发现了布鲁克斯水母（Brooksella alternata）[1]，并将其独立一科布鲁克斯水母科（Brooksellidae），并将其划入钵水母纲[2]。后来卡斯特（Caster, K.E）将其划为独立新纲，即原水母纲[3]。
