吕班 (外交官)
吕班（法语：Pierre René Georges Dubail）（1845年—1932年），法国外交官员，曾任法国驻上海总领事、法国驻中国全权公使等职务。
经历 编辑
吕班于1893年任法国驻上海总领事（一说1897年）。1897年任职于驻北京公使馆。[1]1898年向清政府提出照会，要求“南省海面设立趸船之所”，后来中国同意租借广州湾给法国。[2]1905年任法国驻中国全权公使。[1]1907年成立法中友好协会（法语：Association amicale franco-chinoise (AAFC)）。[3]上海的吕班路（现在的重庆南路）即以吕班为名。[4]

- 吕班在1903年写道，“政策上最好让中国过一天算一天，如同东方的病人一样。”(Il faut souhaiter...qu'une habile politique d'expédients fasse vivre au jour le jour l'Empire Chinois, comme elle fait vivre en Orient l'homme malade.)[5]
- 吕班于1908年接受报纸访问时表示，“短期内危害欧洲利益的是（指中国的）无政府状态(un péril prochain, l'anarchie)，而长期危害欧洲利益的是一个黄色世界的重生(un péril à plus lointaine échéance, la renaissance du monde jaune)。”[5]
