苇𫛚属
鵜形目鷺下的一個屬
苇𫛚属（学名：Ixobrychus，中国大陆作苇𫛚属，香港作苇鳽属，台湾作苇鹭属）为鹈形目鹭科的一个属。[2]本属物种于世界各地几乎均有所分布，目前下属10个物种，其中一种已经绝灭。[2]

该属由瑞典自然学家古斯塔夫·约翰·比尔伯格于1828年所建立。[3]其模式种由美国生物学家维特默·史东于1907年指定为小苇𫛚。[1][4]其属名Ixobrychus来自古希腊语，原应由意义为“芦苇状植物”的ixias及意义为“在...之下”的brukhomai的两个单词形成。[5]当时人们相信这种鸟类会在某些芦苇内吹气以发出宏亮的声响，但比尔伯格却误用“槲寄生”（ἰξός，罗马化：ixos）及“咬牙切齿”（βρύχειν，罗马化：brukhō）形成该学名，使得学名意义变为“槲寄生咆哮者”。[5][6][7]但也有说法是认为ixos可以直接指称芦苇，意思即为“芦苇咆哮者”。[7]
