BT-474,亦称ATCC HTB-20,是人类高度非整倍体乳腺导管癌细胞系[1],最初分离自一位60岁的白人女性乳腺浸润性导管癌患者。BT-474细胞包含着许多具有典型凋亡细胞形态的细胞,已知细胞不存在参与凋亡诱导的p53蛋白,而抑制细胞凋亡的Bcl-2英语Bcl-2则以中等水平表达。BT-474细胞倾向转移到局部淋巴结,并且能够在部形成微转移病变[2]。BT-474有55个染色体,并且具有极其复杂的基因组序列,大多数染色体计数在超四倍体的范围内,同时又缺失三个染色体(N11、N13和N22),并且某些染色体(N9、N14和N15)存在着低于适当比例的问题[3]。经过吉姆萨胰蛋白酶带的测试后,未显示出有明显的HeLa标记物,并且在放射免疫分析中,没有检测到α-乳清蛋白的产生,但是发现BT-483细胞高度表达着孕酮受体[4]。BT-474应用于研究癌症生物学和开发新药物[3]
