努諾·門德斯於2002年6月19日出生在葡萄牙里斯本大區的辛特拉鎮，他是安哥拉裔。[2]努諾·門德斯在10歲就加入了體育CP的青訓學院。[3]2020年6月12日，在體育CP主場1-0戰勝費雷拉的葡超比賽中的第72分鐘替補（英語：Substitute (association football)）出場，換下了阿根廷後衛阿庫尼亞（英語：Marcos Acuña），完成了一線隊首秀。[4][5]

在2020賽季開始前，阿庫尼亞離開了體育CP，加盟了西甲球隊塞維利亞。這也使得努諾·門德斯成為了球隊主帥阿莫里姆（英語：Rúben Amorim）在左後衛位置上的首選，而他在此時年僅18歲。[6]同年10月4日，在體育CP2-0客勝波爾蒂芒人的比賽中，努諾·門德斯打進一球，這也是他在正式比賽中為體育CP打進的第一粒進球。[7]

2020年12月19日，努諾·門德斯與體育CP續約至2025年，同時也將他的違約金（英語：buyout clause）從4500萬歐元提高到了7000萬歐元。[8]

2021年8月31日，努諾·門德斯以租借方式加盟巴黎聖日耳曼，租借期為一個賽季，巴黎聖日耳曼有購入的選項。

國家隊生涯

2020年9月4日，在剛完成了俱樂部首秀後，努諾·門德斯在葡萄牙U-21國家隊4-0完勝賽普勒斯U-21國家隊的U-21歐洲盃外圍賽（英語：2021 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualification）中完成了他的U-21國家隊首秀（英語：Cap (sport)）。[9][10]6個月後，努諾·門德斯在葡萄牙1-0小勝亞塞拜然的2022年世界盃外圍賽中首發出戰，並打滿了全場比賽，完成了成年國家隊首秀。[11][12]
