國際統計學會
國際統計學會 （英語：International Statistical Institute）是一個國際性專業學會，成立於1885年，雖然1853年前身國際統計大會已經成立。[1] 學會有4000名政府，學術界和私營部門會員。附屬協會的會員資格開放給所有擁有任何專業統計人員。學會出版許多書籍和期刊，國際大會每兩年舉辦一場。通常被叫做ISI Session（ISI會期），2011年改稱為 World Statistics Congress（世界統計大會）。[2] 學會永久辦公地點位於荷蘭海牙。

卡爾·皮爾遜獎 編輯
卡爾·皮爾遜獎是2013年學會設立的獎項，以英格蘭統計學家卡爾·皮爾遜命名，用來獎勵在過去三十年之內發表的關於統計理論，方法論，實踐或應用的研究文章或書籍。將會在每兩年一次的世界世界統計大會上公布。獲獎者將會得到5000歐元獎勵以及卡爾·皮爾遜講座的稱號。[4]
彼得·麥考拉和約翰·奈爾德憑藉模型 "for their monograph Generalized Linear Models (1983)"獲獎。[5]
