墨爾本皇家婦科醫院（英語：Royal Women's Hospital）位於墨爾本北部郊區帕克維爾區（英語：Parkville, Victoria），是澳大利亞歷史最悠久的婦科醫院，也是如今澳洲規模最大的婦產科醫院[1]。皇家婦科醫院為墨爾本女性在產科、婦科、新生兒護理、婦科癌症和女性健康等方面提供全方位的醫療服務。 [2]除此之外，該院還提供其他的健康補充服務，如社工、物理治療、營養學和心理關懷。醫院內還設有提供治療子宮內膜異位症、慢性盆腔疼痛、癌症後更年期症狀、不孕症[3]的專科診所。墨爾本皇家婦科醫院是一所擁有 200 多張病床的大型教學醫院，為墨爾本大學[4]和拉籌伯大學[5]的醫學院提供實習、教學和研究的場所。在皇家墨爾本婦科醫院的大樓內還設有弗朗西斯佩里私立醫院（英語：Frances Perry Private Hospital），一家擁有69個床位的私立婦科醫院[6]。

墨爾本皇家婦科醫院的前身於1856年8月19日由理察·特雷西（Richard Tracy）醫師和約翰·莫德（John Maund）醫師在墨爾本的伊斯特希爾（英語：Eastern Hill, Melbourne）為貧困婦女提供醫療分娩與護理的保育院。在保育院設立後，時任聖公會墨爾本教區主教的妻子——弗朗西斯·佩里夫人（Frances Perry）帶領教區內的一群婦女為兩位醫生設立的保育院提供了很大的幫助與支持[7]。它最初的名稱是墨爾本產婦和兒童住院醫院（Melbourne Lying-in Hospital and Infirmary for Diseases Peculiar to Women and Children）[8]。

墨爾本皇家婦科醫院是全澳大利亞的第一家培訓產科醫生與婦科醫生的專科教學醫院，也是墨爾本第一家培訓護士助產士的醫院[8]，以及澳大利亞第一家為護士舉辦研究生課程的醫院[9]。

1858年，這家醫院被重新安置到卡爾頓區（英語：Carlton, Victoria）一處橫跨斯旺斯頓街和格拉頓街（英語：Grattan Street）之間的街區 [9] 。 1884年3月，醫院更名為婦女醫院（The Hospital for Women）。1954年9月，隨著女王伊莉莎白二世巡幸澳洲，該醫院被授予皇家認證[8]，「皇家婦科醫院」的名稱遂沿用至今。

2005年，時任維多利亞州州長斯蒂夫·布拉克斯（英語：Steve Bracks）和州衛生廳廳長布朗溫·派克（英語：Bronwyn Pike）宣布劃撥出帕克維爾區（英語：Parkville, Victoria）的格拉頓街（英語：Grattan Street）和弗萊明頓路（英語：Flemington Road）交叉口緊鄰皇家墨爾本醫院的一塊地皮，建設墨爾本皇家婦科醫院和弗朗西斯佩里私立醫院（英語：Frances Perry Private Hospital）的新大樓[10]。該工程由修建了雪梨歌劇院和安薩橋的鮑德斯通集團承建[11]。2008年6月22日，新的醫院大樓以及其配套設施正式對外開放[12]。這座耗資2.5億澳元的醫院新大樓每年可為 7,000 多名產婦提供接生服務。[13]
