歷史 編輯
安蒂洛普山谷名稱可能命名來自歐裔美國人約瑟夫·謝拉爾（Joseph Sherar）的團體，他們在這裡收集物資運往約翰迪的礦場[6]。謝拉爾以他在德舒特河的收費橋而著名[7]。在19世紀初，這裡有不少叉角羚聚居，牠們不是真正的羚羊（Antelope），通常稱為叉角羚羊[6]。
19世紀 編輯
19世紀中期，安蒂洛普成為達爾斯（Dalles）往坎寧城金礦的馬車中途站。約1870年後，此道路便以達爾斯軍事路（The Dalles Military Road）著名[8]。道路橫跨德舒特河和謝拉爾的橋梁[9]。
安蒂洛普郵局在1871年設立[6]。哥倫比亞南方鐵路（Columbia Southern Railway）修建一條由後比格斯（Biggs Junction）通往在安蒂洛普北面的沙尼科（Shaniko）110-公里（68-英里）長的鐵路後[10]，安蒂洛普人口在1900年左右達到巔峰[11]。1901年1月29日，安蒂洛普編入至俄勒岡州議會。
羅傑尼希社區 編輯
羅傑尼希社區在1981年於安蒂洛普附近建立，至1985年因為一連串非法活動而結束，如1984年羅傑尼希教生物恐怖攻擊。1984年9月18日，安蒂洛普經過公佈同意更名為羅傑尼希（Rajneesh）[12]。1985年11月6日，餘下的居民包括羅傑尼希社區餘黨，以34票一致同意回復至安蒂洛普名稱[1]。然而美國郵政署從未承認羅傑尼希這一更名[6]。
羅傑尼希社區崩潰後，羅傑尼希教派持有安蒂洛普的物業回復至州政府擁有，並在1991年以365萬美元出售給蒙大拿州富翁丹尼斯·華盛頓（Dennis Washington
）[13]。

安蒂洛普位於俄勒岡州中北部，在218號俄勒岡州州道沿線，及與293號俄勒岡州州道交匯處北面[14]。城鎮在馬德拉斯東北面55公里（34英里），波特蘭以東230公里（140英里）[15]。城鎮有一條河流叫安蒂洛普溪，屬於德舒特河流域[14]。

根據2020年人口普查結果顯示，安蒂洛普共有37位居民以及25個家庭。在這37人中，81%（30人）為白人，13%（5人）為拉丁裔，6%（2人）為其它族裔。[4]若按年齡劃分，該城鎮18歲以下人口占比為15%，65歲以上人口占比為12%，年齡中位數為31.8歲。[4]
