移動工作站
移動工作站（英語：Portable Workstation、Mobile Workstation，以及Workstation laptop）[1]在電腦領域常指效能強大，主要用於專業用途（如進行彩現、剪輯影片[2]、編寫程式、開發遊戲、工程設計等）的筆記型電腦[3][4]，為抽取式型的工作站，具有較為強大的圖形處理能力，它們通常擁有更快的圖形處理器、更強大的CPU和額外的主記憶體[5][6]，比如惠普公司的ZBook、戴爾公司的Precision系列產品。此類產品主要針對企業、專業人士。此類產品雖效能強大，但同時也造成了它們普遍體積大、重量大、厚度寬的現象，而因此造成了此類產品與普通筆記本相比，較為不便捷帶的缺點[6][5]。

2010年代後期開始，在YouTube上發表影片的人增加，甚至一部份人成為專職或兼職的YouTuber，為了影片剪輯、音樂創作等影音創作者的需求，筆記型電腦廠商紛紛推出名為「創作者筆電」的移動工作站產品。
