發展歷史 編輯

Xero是由Rod Drury和一部分會計師創立的，Xero認為傳統的應用軟體已經過時並決定建立一個現代化的雲計算產品。[1]2006年，Xero 在紐西蘭威靈頓正式成立。[7]2011年，Xero進軍澳洲市場，[8]2012年，Xero進軍英國市場[9]和美國市場。[10]

資金狀況 編輯

2007年6月5日，Xero在紐西蘭證券交易所1500萬美元（NZD）首次公開募股並在其首個交易日獲得15％的股份。[11]為了防止上市後Xero會迫於壓力被出售給競爭對手，Xero不在美國矽谷上市。[4]2012年11月8日，Xero在澳洲證券交易所上市。[3]

自成立以來，Xero收購了許多公司。2011年7月，Xero收購了澳洲公司Paycycle。[12]2012年7月，Xero收購Spotlight Workpapers。[13]同年，Xero收購了WorkflowMax。[14][15]2013年，Xero進軍美國市場。[16]

截至2015年12月14日，Xero紐西蘭部的總經理由Victoria Crone擔任。2016年Victoria Crone辭職。[17]

2015年12月21日，Anna Curzon任Xero紐西蘭部的新任總經理。[18]

美國 編輯

2014年2月24日，微軟和通用汽車紐約總部的前任財務長Chris Liddell成為了董事會的新任主席。[19]

2014年2月24日，PayPal的前任副總裁Peter Karpas被任命為Xero北美部的執行長。[20]但是僅6個月後Peter Karpas便被迫離職。[21]

2015年2月24日，Adobe Systems和Dell前任營銷主管Russell Fujiokawas成為Xero北美部的總裁.[22]

在Glassdoor的公司評價，Xero評價在2021年4月出現大量正面評價 （頁面存檔備份，存於網際網路檔案館），使本來下降的評價分數重新回到4.2分，使社區中有人懷疑Xero評價造假 （頁面存檔備份，存於網際網路檔案館）。

Xero在紐西蘭Xero的主要競爭對手是澳洲的MYOB。此外，美國公司QuickBooks也是Xero的主要競爭對手。
