英格蘭本土和民族

英格蘭人(英語:English people古英語Anglecynn)是英國英格蘭的原住族群民族母語英語。他們在過千年前被古英語稱作「Anglecynn」時已有高度的身分認同。英格蘭人主要居住於英國構成國家英格蘭上。

以族群的角度看,英格蘭人被認為凯尔特布立吞人盎格魯-撒克遜人凱爾特人維京人等遠古族群的後裔。以民族的角度看,因為近年大量外國少數民族移民,英格蘭人極多元化。
