鷺形類

鷺形類（學名：Ardeae）[2]這個演化支是在2014年透過基因組分析所提出，包括日鳽總目和水鳥類[3]。其中日鳽總目曾被歸類在Metaves（英语：Metaves）這個過時的演化支，而水鳥類則曾被分類為蕉鵑或是鶴形目的姊妹群[4][5]。
