加尔第

加尔第（英语：Kaldi）,又称牧羊人加尔第。加尔第是一位阿拉伯传说中提及的埃塞俄比亚牧羊人（英语：Goatherd）^[1]，据传他在公元850年左右发现了咖啡树，随后该作物传进穆斯林世界，并传播至世界各地。

这个故事很可能是虚构的，因为最初是由一位马龙尼罗马东方语言教授安托万·福斯塔斯·奈隆 (Antoine Faustus Nairon) 讲述的，同时也是第一批致力于咖啡印刷论文之一的著作《De Saluberrima potione Cahue seu Cafe nuncupata Discurscus》（罗马，1671年）的作者。^[2]^[3]
