紅腿叫鶴
紅腿叫鶴（學名：Cariama cristata）是叫鶴科最具掠奪性的陸地鳥類。紅腿叫鶴棲息在草原上，從亞馬遜雨林南部巴西到烏拉圭，以及阿根廷北部。整個區域面積約為590萬平方公里，當然該品種並不是分布在該區域所有地方，從大西洋沿岸森林到巴西沿海沒有它的蹤跡。[2]

描述 編輯
紅腿叫鶴長度為75到90厘米，重量約為1.5公斤。脖子、尾巴和腿較長。羽毛為褐色，上面有黑色斑紋，頭部、頸部、胸部為淺褐色，肚皮為白色。尾部末梢為白色，有黑色帶。嘴和腿為紅色，眼睛為黃色。從喙的邊上有柔軟的羽毛，形成一個扇形的冠。[3]
