藏紅花醛(英語:Safranal)是從藏紅花中分離出來的有機化合物,藏紅花是由番紅花Crocus sativus)柱頭組成的香料。它是藏紅花香氣的主要成分。

藥理學 編輯

藏紅花醛在動物模型中是一種有效的抗驚厥藥,被證明可作為GABAA受體激動劑[1][2]藏紅花醛還具有高抗氧化和自由基清除活性,[3][4]以及​​體外對癌細胞的細胞毒性[5]其抗癌作用機制之一涉及破壞細胞微管的正常組裝動力學。[6]它在動物身上和人類初步研究中也被證明具有抗抑鬱特性。[7][8]
