阿基坦人
阿基坦人（拉丁語：aquitani）是歷史上的一個部族，定居於西比利牛斯山、加龍河左岸和大西洋之間，位於今法國西南部[1]。在高盧戰爭中擊敗他們的尤利烏斯·凱撒將其描述為高盧中獨特的一部分，與比利時高盧和凱爾特高盧區分開來。在羅馬化過程中，阿基坦人逐漸接受了拉丁語（通俗拉丁語）和羅馬文明。他們的原語言，即阿基坦語，是巴斯克語的前身[2]，也是今加斯科涅使用的加斯科涅語（屬於羅曼語族）的底層。
