Tiverton Township is one of the twenty-two townships of Coshocton County, 俄亥俄州, 美國. As of the 2010 census the population was 449.[3]

編輯Located in the northwestern corner of the county, 與以下鎮區接壤:
- Richland Township, Holmes County - 北
- Monroe Township - 東
- Jefferson Township - 東南 corner
- Newcastle Township - 南
- Butler Township, Knox County - 南west corner
- Union Township, Knox County - 西
No municipalities are located in Tiverton Township.
Name and history
編輯It is the only Tiverton Township statewide.[4]
Tiverton Township was organized in 1824 by the name of Union Township, but by 1825, the name was changed to Tiverton.[5][6] It was named for Tiverton, Rhode Island, the former hometown of a large share of the first settlers.[7]
政府
編輯鎮區有3人組成的理事會管理。理事會理事選舉在奇數年11月舉行,並在來年1月1日開始四年任期。兩名理事的選舉在總統選舉後一年舉行,另一名的選舉在總統選舉前一年舉行。鎮區財務官亦由選舉產生[8],與一名鎮區理事選舉同時舉行,不過在來年4月1日才開始四年任期。若財務官或理事職位有空缺,將由剩餘理事填補。
