柯瑞·布克2020年美國總統競選活動

柯瑞·布克(英語:Cory Anthony Booker)在2019年2月1日宣佈競選美國總統。[4] 除了英語,他也用西班牙語回答問題,[5] 用西班牙語撰寫推文[6] 川普總統當天回應布克的競選宣佈,評論他沒有機會。[7] 根據2019年11月民調顯示,威斯康辛州的選民如果只能選擇布克或現任總統的話,他會贏 (Booker 45%, Trump 44%)。[8]

他反對白人優越主義[43] 他認為宗教LGBT權利可以共存。[44] 2019年11月,被問到黑人長者是否普遍覺得 投票給一個同性戀的總統候選人(即皮特·布塔朱吉) 難受/尷尬? 他答:他及他的母親都認為同性戀人參選總統 是件好事情。[45] 他認為中國領導人终身制 (英語:getting rid of term limits) 是走向威权主义,並承諾指出中國對人權的侵犯。[46]
