阿伦·罗马克斯
阿伦·罗马克斯（Alan Lomax /ˈloʊmæks/；1915年1月31日—2002年7月19日）是一名美国民族音乐学家，以其对美国和欧洲各国传统音乐的调查和他发明的《歌唱测定体系》知名。他的父亲约翰·罗马克斯就是一名民族音乐学家，阿伦·罗马克斯早期和父亲一起进行田野调查。他记录下的民间音乐收录于美国民歌档案馆（隶属国会图书馆）中，他本人也当过这个档案馆的馆长。

1942年，因国会图书馆削减民歌搜集经费，罗马克斯开始独立进行调查，曾去过英国、爱尔兰、加勒比海群岛、意大利和西班牙等国家和地区。2004年3月，国会图书馆将罗马克斯独立调查得到的材料也纳入其馆藏[1]。冷战开始之后，他开始呼吁社会重视民俗，强调文化平等[2]。
