2006年,利用史匹哲太空望远镜红外观测,在这颗恒星周围的轨道上发现了一个碎片场。这些碎片被认为是一个小行星带,碎片的量测温度为110 K,这使其位于距离恒星4到6AU之间的轨道上,或者与木星绕太阳运行的距离大致相同[12]。这个岩屑盘可能是由一个直径100公里的星子在碰撞中破裂形成的[13]。该恒星系统在70μm处没有显示出任何过量发射,这表明它没有一个冷的外部尘埃盘[14]

这颗恒星被检查是否存在一颗质量在2-10木星质量范围内、轨道距离为3-15.5AU太阳系外行星。然而,在2007年,很可能发现了一颗近距离的恒星伴星。此对象与主对象相隔0.15弧秒,因此不太可能是背景天体[15]

这颗恒星已被提议为杜鹃-时钟座星协英语Tucana-Horologium association(Tuc-Hor)的成员,这是一个在太空中有共同运动的年轻恒星流。这个星协已有3,000万年的年龄[16][17]。 这颗恒星的空间速度分量是[U, V, W] = [−0.6, −16.3, 5.0] km/s[11]。它围绕银河系运行,轨道离心率为0.06,与星系核心的距离在7.11−8.01 kpc之间变化。其轨道的倾斜使其高出银河系平面90秒差距[6]
