近异雀九天燕座θ)是在南天拱极星座天燕座中的一颗恒星。它是一颗变星视星等在+4.65至+6.20之间变化[3],依据波特尔暗空分类法的分级,这是一颗暗弱的恒星,要在黑暗的郊区天空中才能以裸眼看见。根据盖亚望远镜的视差测量,它与地球的距离是350光年(110秒差距[6]。不寻常的是,它是一颗红星,并且有极高的自行(超过每年50毫秒)[9]

它已经演化成为红巨星,目前在渐近巨星支[10]光谱类型为M7III[3]。它的亮度是太阳的3879倍,表面温度3151K[11]。它是一颗半规则的脉动变星,变光幅度超过0.56等,周期为119天[3];还检测到超过1,000天的长周期[12]。它通过恒星风,以每年1.1 × 10−7太阳质量的速率流失质量。从这颗恒星喷出的尘埃物质与周围的星际物质作用,在穿越银河系时形成艏震波。波的前缘距离近异雀九大约0.134 ly(0.041 pc)[10]

近异雀九已被确定为联星,表明它有一颗轨道上的伴星,导致主星受到摄动[13]
