《世界新聞報》（英語：News of the World）是英國的一份全國性報紙，自1843年起每周日發行。該報曾為最暢銷的英文報紙，直至停發時仍為發行量最大的英文報紙之一[4]。世界新聞報的最初發行模式為大報，在1984年被傳媒大亨魯柏·梅鐸所有的新聞集團下的新聞國際公司重組兼併後轉型為小型報，並成為了太陽報的周日版。該報紙以報道許多名人以及涉及名人的醜聞的文章而出名。因該報紙喜歡報道性醜聞，故被人們稱作「News of the Screws」或「Screws of the World」。報紙的主要名聲即為通過安插臥底或記者暗訪來獲得錄像和圖片證據，另外還會實行電話侵入（警方調查中）。此外，該報的文章亦被認為含有很多民粹主義傾向。

這份有168年歷史的報紙在2011年7月10日停止發行，原因即是該報被揭發捲入多宗竊聽醜聞（包括竊聽13歲兇案受害少女杜勒，竊聽倫敦七七爆炸案中死者親人的手機）而在英國本土聲名狼藉。
