奥氏恐螯虾
奥氏恐螯虾（学名：Dinochelus ausubeli）是恐螯虾属（Dinochelus）之下的唯一一个物种[2]:90[1]。本物种是一种细小的深海龙虾，在2007年的一次国际海洋生物探测时被发现[2]:90[1]，2010年被描述[1]。 elongated, and bear many long teeth on the inner surface.

型态描述 编辑
本物种的头胸甲长约31毫米（1.2英寸），终其一生其身体皆呈通透的白色，另外在其头胸甲的中间、尾部、触角及on the first pereiopods (including the claws)均带桃红色[1]。左右两边的螫的体积差异颇大。
分布与发现 编辑
本物种目前只知道存在于其模式产地，即15°56′N 121°45′E / 15.933°N 121.750°E，位于菲律宾吕宋岛巴勒尔湾海域[1]。 这个物种是在2007年的一次国际海洋生物探测时，被拖网船于250米（820英尺）深的海底捞获。这次深测被誉为“21世纪首个十年描述海洋生物的最重要发现”[3][4][5]。这个物种其后于2010年正式为海洋生物学家所描述[1]。

The new species was placed in a separate genus, Dinochelus, whose name derives from the 古希腊语 roots δεινός (dinos), meaning "terrible" or "fearful", and χηλή (chela), meaning "爪".[1] The 种加词 "ausubeli" honours Jesse H. Ausubel, the sponsor of the Census of Marine Life, "in recognition of his vision and support for marine biodiversity exploration".[1]
恐螯虾属过往并不属于海螯虾科，而是被分类到同属海螯虾总科之下的Thaumastochelidae科，而这个科之下还有 Thaumastocheles 和 Thaumastochelopsis这两个属[1]。These genera all show very long, toothed claws with a bulbous base, with one claw much longer than the other.[1]。本物种在型态上与上述两个属相同，但当使用细胞色素c氧化酶对DNA测序时，本物种的结果显示与这两个属只是姐妹群关系，未至于同属一个科[1]。It is distinguished from either genus by the unusual, T-shaped form of the epistome.[1]
