考慮到Pixel 3系列的銷量逐漸減少，2019年5月7日，Google在I/O大會公布了Pixel 3的中階機型Pixel 3a和Pixel 3a XL，這兩款手機於同日在美國發售[6][7]。2019年10月15日，Pixel 3的繼任者Pixel 4發布。[8]
