谴责性侵犯与性骚扰的社交媒体主题标签

#我也是(英語:#MeToo)是2017年10月哈維·韋恩斯坦性騷擾事件後在社交媒體上廣泛傳播的一個主題標籤,用於譴責性侵犯性騷擾行為。[1][2][3]社會運動人士塔拉納·伯克英語Tarana Burke在此之前數年便開始使用這一短語,後經女演員艾莉莎·米蘭諾的傳播而廣為人知。米蘭諾鼓勵女性在推特上公開被侵犯的經歷,以使人們能認識到這些行為的普遍性。[4][5]自此之後,數百萬人使用了這一標籤來公開她們的不快經歷,其中也包括許多知名人士。[6][7]

起源 編輯

社會活動人士與社區組織者塔拉納·伯克於2006年在Myspace上最早使用了「我也是(Me Too)」這一短語。[8]當時伯克發起了一場草根運動,在被性侵犯的有色人種、特別是底層女性中推廣「用同理心實現賦權」(empowerment through empathy),而「我也是」便是這場運動的一部分。[4][9][10][11][12]目前伯克正在製作一部名為《我也是》的紀錄片。她提到,那時有一位13歲的少女向她傾訴曾遭受的性侵犯,而她當時不知該如何回應。這一經歷啟發她開始使用「我也是」一詞,她說她希望當時能用這個詞來回應那位少女。[8]

2017年10月15日,女演員艾莉莎·米蘭諾在推特上鼓勵女性儘可能地傳播這個詞,使人們能意識到該問題的嚴重性與普通性。當時她寫到:「如果所有被性騷擾或侵犯過的女性都能發一條『我也是』的狀態,那人們或許能認識到這個問題的重要性。」[13][14][15][6][4]米蘭諾後來提到她是受到了伯克的啟發,還說伯克的故事「感人至深、鼓舞人心」。[8]

僅10月15日「#我也是」就在推特上出現了超過20萬次[16],到次日更是超過了50萬次。[1]臉書上,最初的24小時內就有470萬人在1200萬條狀態中提到了該標籤。[7]據臉書統計,45%的美國用戶至少有一個朋友發布了帶該標籤的狀態。[17]

有數以萬計的女性回覆了米蘭諾的推特,其中包括:[18]

此外,泰瑞·克魯斯[42]詹姆士·范·德·比克[43]布蘭登‧費雪[44][45]等男性亦表示他們同樣有過被性騷擾的經歷。而另一些男性則通過標籤「我會如何改變」(HowIWillChange)來承認他們有過對女性的無禮行為。[13]同時,伊莉莎白·普蘭克英語Elizabeth Plank則創造了標籤「然而他」(HimThough)。[46]

好萊塢之外,「我也是」宣言還引發了音樂界[23]、科學界[47]、學術界[48]、政界[49]等各個領域對性騷擾與性虐待的廣泛討論。如在音樂圈中,樂團Veruca Salt英語Veruca Salt使用該標籤指控詹姆士·托貝克英語James Toback的性騷擾行徑[50],而愛麗絲·格拉斯英語Alice Glass則聲稱她原先在音樂組合水晶城堡英語Crystal Castles (band)的同伴伊森·凱斯英語Ethan Kath對其有侵犯行為。[51][52]

加利福尼亞州、伊利諾州、俄勒岡州與羅德島州的州議會分別回應了在競選中出現的性騷擾指控。[53]一些政界女性則講述了她們遭遇過的性騷擾,其中包括聯邦參議員海迪·海特坎普廣野慶子克蕾兒·麥卡斯基伊莉莎白·華倫[49]聯邦眾議員傑基·斯貝爾則發起了一項提案,旨在簡化國會中告發性騷擾的流程。[54]

2017年11月12日,數百人在好萊塢參與了「還我職場遊行」(Take Back the Workplace March)與「#我也是倖存者遊行」(#MeToo Survivors March),以抗議性侵犯行為。[55]

11月16日,紐約州聯邦參議員陸天娜在被問到總統唐納·川普、前總統比爾·柯林頓、參議員艾爾·弗蘭肯以及羅伊·摩爾等政界人物被指控有不當行為時,特別提到了「我也是」運動。[56]

此一標籤已在全球最少85個國家中使用[57],包括印度、巴基斯坦和英國。法國則出現了這一短語的變種——「BalanceTonPorc」(直譯為「揭發你的色豬」)[58],用以鼓勵用戶對外公開涉嫌性侵犯與性騷擾者的姓名[59]。「#我也是」對應的西班牙語為「#YoTambién」;加拿大法語地區則以「#MoiAussi」這一標籤參與這場運動。以色列當地的同意標籤為以希伯來語寫成的「גםאנחנו#」(#我們也是),其在2017年10月18日因登上當地報紙《新新聞報》而開始流行[58]

歐洲議會歐盟布魯塞爾辦公室發生的騷擾行為被爆出後,歐洲議會召開了一次會議以回應「我也是」運動。歐盟貿易專員塞西莉亞·馬爾姆斯特倫英語Cecilia Malmström特別提到了該標籤是召開此次會議的原因。[60]在英國,內閣辦公廳啟動了一項對保守黨籍下議院議員馬克·加尼爾的調查。加尼爾被指控讓其秘書幫他的妻子與情婦購買情趣用品。[61]

#HimToo 編輯

隨著#MeToo運動的流行,相關的主題標籤#HimToo跟著出現。即使最早可以追溯到2015年,而且最初是和政治或非正式的信息相關,#HimToo在2017年得到了與#MeToo有關連的新意義,用於強調性騷擾和性虐待中的男性受害者,而其他人用它來強調男性罪犯。在2018年九月和十月,美國最高法院布雷特·卡瓦諾提名期間的性侵犯指控發出之時,#HimToo變成被卡瓦諾的支持者使用,和用於強調被謊報性侵所害的男性受害者。[62][63]

批評 編輯

有批評意見稱這一標籤讓被性騷擾與性侵犯的受害者負起了將這些行為公開化的責任,而這可能會使受害者再度遭到心理創傷[64][65][66][67]還有意見則稱這個標籤只是簡單地激起了憤怒,使人們無法進行有更有意義的交流。[68][69]伯克最初批評這項運動忽視了黑人女性為針對性騷擾問題所做的工作。不過,她還是向參與該運動的人們致敬,並對米蘭諾能認可她發起的類似運動表達了讚許。[9]

一些女權主義者和女性抨擊了這個運動。[70][71]

關於這個運動是要改變全部或是一部分的男性,還有什麼行動才是這個運動的行為目標有些爭論。[72]另外一些女性指出#MeToo應該只用於檢驗最糟糕的侵犯類型,以避免將所有男性分類成犯罪者,或是造成大眾對問題的麻木。[72][73]

矯枉過正 編輯

一名律師和獲獎記者理察‧阿克蘭英語Richard Ackland敘述對誹謗的反應會導致「令人窒息的訴訟漩渦」。[74]

言論提到這些不論嚴酷與否的結果,實際上是被允許的不當行為特例。[73][75][76]有一個特別引發兩派爭論的故事在2018年1月18日刊載於Babe.net英語The_Tab#babe,一名匿名者控訴她和阿茲‧安薩里的約會細節並發生了性侵犯吉兒‧菲利波維奇英語Jill Filipovic衛報的文章中寫道:「我們發表一個舉止惡劣之男的轟動故事只是時間的問題,但仍然不是一次性侵犯。」[77][78][79]

一些演員曾為了這個運動的擁護者不區分不同等級的性侵犯而警告他們。麥特·戴蒙曾經在採訪中為這個現象做出批評,而隨後道歉,說:「給男人和年輕人的明白信息是,拒絕它。因為如果你替你做過的事承擔責任,你的人生將會被摧毀。」[80]隨後連恩·尼遜發表意見指出,一些被指控的男性,包含加里森·凱勒英語Garrison Keillor達斯汀·霍夫曼,被不公平地對待。[81]亨利·卡維爾在接受《GQ》雜誌採訪時提到恐怕在#MeToo潮流下,「男人追求女人,其實是一件很美妙的事情,這其實也是一種傳統方式,挺不錯的。女人應當被追求,也許我太老派了,才會這麼想。……我擔心在#MeToo潮流下,男人恐怕不敢這麼做了,因為怕被當成強姦犯看。」此言一出立即引發社交媒體爭論,卡維爾隨後就其言論做出了公開道歉。[82]

2019年的LeanIn.Org英語LeanIn.OrgSurveyMonkey調查顯示,百分之六十的男性經理回答他們在工作場所教導女性、與女性進行社交,以及和女性一對一會面時,感到「太過於緊張」。[83][84][85]根據彭博新聞社報導,華爾街的男性管理人員因為懼怕被指控性騷擾,開始流行「彭斯規則」(Pence rule,也稱「葛培理規則」),即盡一切可能避免與女性相處[86]。《石英財經網》也報導因為#MeToo運動在韓國企業中出現也導致「彭斯規則」的盛行,導致男性員工寧可用依賴簡訊電子郵件也不願和女性同事面對面直接交流[87]雪莉·桑德伯格為此聲明擔心女性會因此無法接觸導師而失去事業升遷的機會,並發起#MentorHer運動呼籲職場男性不要因為懼怕性侵指控而疏遠女性[88]

2019年在由愛思唯爾出版的期刊組織動態研究顯示,男人們顯著地更不願意與他們的女性同事互動了。例子包含百分之二十七的男人避免與女性同事進行一對一會面,百分之二十一的男人說他們不願意在需要近距離接觸(例如出差)的職位雇用女性,還有百分之十九的男人不願意雇用外貌出眾的女性。[89][90]

有關控訴者在事實查核之前都應該被相信的部份引發了討論。有些人疑惑被控訴者是否在經過正當法律程序確認他們的罪行之前就先被公開了。[73][75][76]

許多評論家指出謊報性侵的數量被高估了,引述美國司法部和其他組織的數據評估出謊報性侵英語False accusation of rape大約有2-10%。[91]包含男孩的母親在內許多女性使用#ProtectOurBoys來譴責她們所認為的謊報性侵案件。[92]

2017年11月30日,伊吉歐瑪·歐路歐英語Ijeoma Oluo展示了她從今日美國收到的內容,要求她寫出一篇正當法律程序對性侵犯指控是不必要的爭論。她拒絕了,表示:「我理所當然相信正當法律程序」,並寫下要求她「成為他們的稻草人」的信件是虛偽的。[93]

2018年9月21日,唐納·川普控訴凱瑞斯汀·布萊西·福特編造她對美國現任最高法院大法官布雷特·卡瓦諾的指控,表示如果她的故事是真的,她會在這件事發生的時候就對他提出報告。這是一種對#MeToo運動和自稱的性侵害受害者等人的常見爭論。[94]

2018年10月11日,美國總統唐納·川普的妻子梅蘭妮亞·川普表示,對男人提出性虐待告訴的女人應該要有支持他們主張的確實證據。[95]

過度強調個案 編輯

#MeToo運動因為將過多公眾注意力放在被控告性侵犯的特定個人,而非討論能幫助現在正遭受性虐待之人的政策或制度規範而飽受批評。[96]
